Artist Statement
The emotional tone contrasts the chaotic vibe of restlessness against the serene elements of peace. The palette, a mix of deep blues and gentle yellows, evokes a state of renewal amidst darkness, suggesting a transition from tension (deep blues) to calm (pale yellows). The predominant color in the center accentuates the argument between impulse and tranquility, with broken pixels scattered to symbolize the disruptions caused by restlessness. A pulse of memory, embodied in the restless rhythmic patterns near the edges, overlaps and conflicts with the more peaceful rings forming the center, reflecting how memories can disrupt peace.
