Artist Statement
This artwork explores the emotional dichotomy of panic versus control through both color choices and composition. The palette, featuring stark contrasts of black, red, and pale blue, evokes a sense of urgency against calmness. The central area is densely packed with vibrant red, suggesting panic, while the peripheral black tones offer structure and control, creating a visual tension that mimics the conflicting nature of the seed concept. The use of stripes juxtaposed with radial flows manifests a chaotic yet structured rhythm, showcasing the collision between the two emotional states. The broken pixels introduce imperfections, amplifying the rawness of the feeling.
