Artist Statement
This composition explores the duality of nostalgia and progress. The warm yellows and oranges represent memories and the idea of joy, while the deep blue and muted purple introduce a somber weight, creating contrast throughout the piece. The center, where warmer tones collide with cooler, symbolizes moments of tension amidst release, mirrored on both sides but intentionally broken to reflect emotional imperfections. This pattern evokes a flow from calm nostalgia to intense pressure.
