Artist Statement
The emotional tone contrasts love with betrayal, manifesting in the warm reds and soft pinks of the upper rows representing love, juxtaposed with the cooler grays and dark maroon of the lower rows for betrayal. The split horizontal layout embodies both emotions, creating a visual tension that reflects the internal conflict of the seed. Color placement in the top rows echoes flame patterns, while the bottom uses a rain-like arrangement for betrayal, allowing the viewer to feel the pressure of betrayal surrounding the warmth of love. Broken pixels create imperfections, enhancing the narrative of conflict and complexity in relationships.
