Artist Statement
This artwork explores the emotional dichotomy of confusion and clarity through a carefully chosen palette that reflects both warmth and tension. The dark maroon represents introspection, while pink and red signify emotional intensity, contrasting against muted gray for a sense of balance. The primary conflict arises from the introduction of broken patterns, where dark maroon interrupts the lighter hues, mimicking a pulse of disturbance amid steady areas. The composition plays with symmetry versus chaos, manifesting the seed's dichotomy by using crack patterns on one half and broken dots on the other, resulting in a visual representation of emotional struggle.
