Artist Statement
The emotional tone juxtaposes longing and resolve, reflected in a palette of moss green for calmness, bone white to symbolize potential, rust for the essence of decay, stone gray for resilience, and small gold for subtle accents of hope. The main contrast occurs in the center where the 'lattice' of longing intersects with 'hinge' forms of resolve, creating a busy central collision against spacious, lighter areas.
