Artist Statement
The emotional tone explores the tension between 'longing' and 'resolve', creating a narrative of yearning balanced with strength. The palette, inspired by 'hunger_restraint', employs muted tones like red oxide and blackened plum for longing against the calmness of muted cream and iron gray for resolve. The central collision occurs in the grid's center, where radial 'longing' patterns interact with sharper 'resolve' flames, suggesting a dynamic push-pull feeling. Broken pixels add disruption, echoing the imperfections of the emotional landscape, while negative space is preserved to allow the emotions to breathe.
