Artist Statement
This composition embodies the emotional tension between joy and grief through a duality of colors and patterns. The palette juxtaposes bright yellows and oranges representing joy against deep blues and muted purples evoking grief. The outer border exhibits a heavy presence with dark colors, while the inner core showcases brighter hues in a maze pattern, creating a pulse of hope.
