Artist Statement
This composition reflects the emotional tug-of-war between fear and hope. The chosen palette of deep blacks and soft golds creates a stark contrast, symbolizing the heaviness of fear against the lightness of hope. The central lighter elements are surrounded by darker tones, mimicking the inward flow of pressure and anxiety, while maintaining gaps for negative space that allows the viewer's eye to rest, suggesting both tension and release. The zigzag and fragmented patterns create an effect of uncertainty and collision, echoing the seed's concepts.
