Artist Statement
This artwork explores the emotional tension between fear and hope through contrasting color and placement. The palette of dark violet, soft gold, and pale green emphasizes this duality, with dark tones suggesting fear's heavy pressure and lighter hues symbolizing hope's emergence. The sharp edges of the dark colors cut through the softer, rising signals of gold and green, creating a zigzag pattern that represents the tumultuous interplay between anxiety and optimism.
