Artist Statement
This composition embodies the emotional tension between fear and hope. Dark corners represent fear with jagged edges and muted tones, while soft gold and pale green act as emerging hope, rising through disrupting patterns. The palette contrasts deeply, establishing a collision between the heavy black and violet at the edges, and the luminous center that suggests upward movement and encouragement. The zigzag rhythm introduces a dynamic flow, hinting at struggle, while the broken pixels add an element of imperfection, suggesting vulnerability within the void of fear.
