Artist Statement
This artwork explores the tumultuous dance between joy and grief, employing a palette of vibrant yellows and muted blues to convey contrasting emotional landscapes. The interplay of bright and dark colors evokes a rising signal of hope against a backdrop of heavy sorrow. The zigzag pattern formed by joy with bright sparks of yellow collides with the deep blue, representing grief, creating moments of tension that disrupt the order. This visual conflict illustrates an argument grid of emotions where bright pixels intermingle with darker tones, yet leave space for reflection and calm.
