Artist Statement
The emotional tone reflects a struggle between trust (soft, warm colors) and suspicion (hard, cold shades). I chose a palette of deep blacks and vibrant pinks with muted grays to symbolize the conflict between clarity and chaos. The main collision occurs between the dark corner filled with jagged texture and the lighter, smoother transitions on the opposite side, suggesting an internal struggle. The layout emphasizes pressure in one corner, representing how suspicion can overshadow trust while maintaining a subtle balance throughout the piece.
