Artist Statement
This artwork captures the emotional tension between yearning and determination. The palette reflects the dichotomy, using muted tones like dust gray and faint peach to express longing, contrasted with deep dark navy and compressed red to signify resolve and strength. The broken pixels disrupt the flow, creating a sense of imperfection and echoing the theme of repair versus damage.
