Artist Statement
This artwork embodies the tension between tenderness and rage through a collision of contrasting colors and patterns. The color palette includes deep blacks and vibrant reds to represent rage, while pale blues and whites introduce a softness and gentleness. The center of the square is densely populated with sharp, jagged pixels, symbolizing the explosive nature of rage, while the edges extend in muted braids, reflecting a gentler approach found in tenderness. This push and pull not only represents the emotional conflicts within the seed but also threads through the chaotic calm of the 'quiet channel'. The main collision occurs at the center where the jagged red pixels invade the softer colors, creating a visual representation of inner turmoil against outer serenity.
