Artist Statement
This artwork embodies the emotional contrast between joy and grief, highlighted through the chosen palette of warm yellows and oranges meeting deep blues and muted purples. The layout flows from top to bottom, creating a sense of descent, enhancing the feelings of falling or letting go. The warm tones suggest an expanding joy, while the cool shades of blue evoke feelings of grief and weight.
