Artist Statement
The emotional tone encapsulates the tension between exposure and shelter, using contrasting colors to represent vulnerability (soft, warm hues) and strength (deep, dark hues). The palette combines warm coral and soft amber expressing vulnerability with cold slate and blue-black illustrating strength. The collision occurs at the diagonal, where strength and vulnerability meet and interrupt each other, depicting both connection and alienation through the zigzag flow. The broken pixels introduce intentional imperfections, reflecting real emotional experiences.
