Artist Statement
This composition explores the emotional tension between clarity and chaos, using a palette that symbolizes the relationship between light and dark, presence and absence. The dominant colors of navy and black evoke a feeling of depth, while dim cyan adds a subtle brightness, representing the 'signal' that seeks to emerge from the 'noise'. The crosshatch pattern transitions into a threshold texture, creating a collision of readable structure and scattered uncertainty at the center, where the emotions converge. Broken pixels are intentionally placed to disrupt the symmetry, suggesting memory fragments and interruptions in perception.
