Artist Statement
This piece captures a struggle between clarity and confusion, using dark navy and black for grounding and obscuring static noise, while lighter dim cyan represents fragile, readable signals attempting to break through. The central area is dense and chaotic, with the pattern visually erupting but contained by a thin, glowing edge that suggests boundary. Broken pixels introduced throughout create intentional disruptions, reflecting the dynamic tension of memory verses erasure. The collision predominantly occurs in the center, where the dark density confronts the light accents.
