Artist Statement
This artwork explores the emotional tension between loneliness and connection. The palette of black, dark violet, soft gold, and pale green embodies the duality of fear and hope. Strong contrasts between dark and light colors illustrate the struggle of connection against isolation, while the patterns of rain (loneliness) and stripes (connection) create a rhythmic clash. The central negative space, combined with bursts of color, reflects hidden depth and ancient fire, suggesting layers of emotion beneath a seemingly simple surface.
