Artist Statement
This composition embodies the emotional tension between longing and resolve, illustrated through a palette that combines ripe and acid greens with warm honey golds. The central 'thread' shape represents connection and distance, surrounded by 'stairs' patterns that suggest both structure and elevation. The collision occurs primarily in the center, where warm colors meet the cooler, muted tones, creating a dialogue of pressure against release. The broken pixels serve as scars, hinting at repair amidst damage, while leaving intentional negative space to invite reflection on the emotional weight.
