Artist Statement
This artwork captures the emotional tension between loneliness and connection, using a contrasting palette of deep reds and cool pale blues. The top half, representing loneliness, employs a maze pattern that evokes isolation through sporadic warmth against a backdrop of muted space, enhancing subconscious feeling of separation. The bottom half mirrors this with a frame-like pattern that celebrates connection via structured unity in the cooler tones, suggesting a formation amidst chaos. The central pixels collide at the center with contrasting colors, representing both a source of light and tension. Broken pixels disrupt the otherwise structured flow, adding an element of imperfection and emphasizing the chaos of emotional experiences.
