Artist Statement
This composition captures the emotional tension of safety versus exposure through a visual echo of contrasts. The palette of soft greens and warm browns create a protective atmosphere, while the pale skin and cold white evoke vulnerability and exposure. The layout, with a hollow center, accentuates a feeling of openness surrounded by supportive density. The central collision of ripple and grid patterns illustrates the dynamic interplay between pressure and release, with the main interaction occurring in the center. The broken pixels introduce intentional disruptions that represent the scars of exposure, enhancing the abstract narrative.
