Artist Statement
This piece embodies the emotional collision of fear and hope. The selected palette of black, dark violet, soft gold, and pale green reflects this duality: dark colors representing fear envelop the lighter, hopeful inner core, creating a tension between pressure and release. The outer edges exhibit jagged rhythms, while the 4x4 central section presents a structured grid to echo hope. The interplay creates a compelling narrative of calmness wrestling with anxiety, as broken pixels introduce a sense of imperfection, enhancing the emotional weight without losing balance.
