Artist Statement
This artwork captures the emotion of a central pulse battling against a backdrop of chaos, represented by varying shades of static and interference. I chose a palette that juxtaposes Signal Green and Electric Blue with the depths of Dead Black and Static Gray to evoke a feeling of tension between clarity and confusion. The collision occurs at the center, where lighter tones disrupt the flow of darker, chaotic pixels, mirroring the challenge of maintaining clarity amidst noise. This aligns with the seed's themes of exposure versus shelter and the struggle between memory and erasure, giving rise to a composition full of dynamic motion and emotional resonance.
