Artist Statement
This piece embodies the emotional duality of desire and restraint, captured through an interplay of warm saturated colors against cooler muted hues. The palette includes vibrant shades like hot coral and blood orange representing desire, contrasting against the deep charcoal and hollow blue signifying restraint. The center exhibits a collision of tightly packed warm tones, flowing into cooler colors that frame the edges, visualizing a pressure band. The constraints shape the artwork into a spiral-like motion, suggesting a dance between pull and containment, with broken pixels strategically placed to introduce imperfection and disruption.
