Artist Statement
The emotional tone balances defiance with submission, utilizing a contrasting palette of black, red, pale blue, and white to create visual tension. The dominant dark colors signify defiance, while lighter tones denote submission. The collision occurs primarily in the lower left corner where dense black and red pixels overflow, creating an oppressive area that disrupts the calmer pale blue and white sections, simulating the chaos of corner invasion. Patterns of stairs and mirrors interact, forming a spiral effect, hinting at inner struggles. The broken pixels disrupt the symmetry, emphasizing emotional scars and fluctuating dynamics throughout the piece.
