Artist Statement
This piece contrasts two emotional states: the vibrant signal represented by sharp, bright colors breaking through the dense, muted noise that reflects static and interruptions. The palette combines 'signal green' and 'electric blue' for the focal points against 'static gray' and 'dead black' that serve as the noise backdrop. The main collision occurs centrally, leveraging the layout of islands surrounded by the sea of noise, creating a tension between clarity and distortion. Each broken pixel adds to the theme of memory against erasure, allowing for a fragmented narrative. This abstract form invites the viewer to explore the turbulence between identifiable signals and overwhelming noise.
