Artist Statement
This artwork embodies the emotional tension between longing and resolve through a muted yet striking palette. The use of ice blue and warning orange represents the contrast between calmness and urgency, while clean white serves as the negative space, inviting the eye to rest. Collisions occur at the center where dense vertical lines (resolve) meet soft ring patterns (longing), creating an interplay of depth and distance. The layout of dense saturation in the center breaking against lighter borders speaks to the struggle between overwhelming emotion and the need for clarity.
