Artist Statement
This artwork embodies the emotional contrast between fear (darkness, jagged, and broken) and hope (soft glow, radial softness). The chosen palette combines deep blacks and dark violets to express fear, while pale greens and soft golds introduce the essence of hope subtly. The outer pixels' jagged arrangement symbolizes broken edges of fear, encapsulating the center with a smooth, radial pattern of hope that bursts forth while retaining an imperfect structure. This interplay creates a feeling of resilience, illustrating the struggle of holding on to hope amidst fear's encroachment.
