Artist Statement
This composition embodies the emotional tension between trust and suspicion through a deliberate clash of colors, where the warmth of trust is met with the cold undertones of suspicion. The selected palette of hot coral and charcoal creates a visceral experience of conflict, with islands of vibrant colors standing out against muted backgrounds. The soft glow of trust is intermittently disrupted by the lattice-like structures of suspicion, mirroring the emotional states at play. The diagonal flow suggests movement between these emotional extremes, with broken pixels subtly indicating disruptions in our journey, emphasizing resilience amidst fragility.
