Artist Statement
The emotional tone captures the tension between envy and gratitude, using a palette of burnt orange and dark red to evoke intensity and depth. The contrasting clean pattern of orderly zigzags on one side meets the chaotic splashes of color on the other, embodying the duality of center-heavy and off-center themes. The palette creates a vibrant play of warmth against muted tones, accentuating the emotional collision. The broken pixels introduce imperfection, resonating with the fractured emotions hinted at by the seed.
