Artist Statement
This artwork embodies the emotional struggle between control and surrender, where dense clusters of deep blues and blacks represent a sense of containment and pressure, while pale yellows and greens suggest a gentle descent into surrender. The central collision occurs with an explosion of color at the center, representing a breaking point. Patterns of fault lines intermingle with softer noise, reflecting the push and pull of opposing emotions.
