Artist Statement
The artwork captures the emotional struggle between tenderness and rage. Utilizing a palette of saturated red and muted blues, the contrast underscores the chaotic surge of emotions. The left side embodies a gentle crosshatch of blues, suggesting calm and tenderness, while the right erupts with jagged red channels, representing rage. The edges fade into each other, highlighting transitions. The central collision at the heart expresses a convergence of these two forces, creating a rhythmic dissonance as if they are grappling for space. The broken pixels serve as scars, introducing a sense of vulnerability and imperfection, making the piece not just a visual arrangement but an emotional narrative.
