Artist Statement
The emotional tone balances between pressure and quietness, creating an interplay of dense clusters at the top and lighter, softer tones below. The palette, consisting of 'off_white', 'dust_gray', 'compressed_red', 'dark_navy', and 'faint_peach', reflects this duality, with darker colors representing crowding and pressure, while the lighter tones signify calm and space. The main collision occurs where the compressed reds and dark navies meet the faint peaches, symbolizing the tension against soft release. The patterns of braid and patchwork are employed to create visual disorder that echoes the theme of fracture and intertwining flows.
