Artist Statement
The composition embodies the emotional tension between desire and restraint, utilizing a palette that juxtaposes saturated, warm tones of coral and orange against muted blues and charcoals. The layered patterns create a sense of collision, where bright accents peek through a lattice of restraint, forming a dense cluster that evokes a dynamic interplay of yearning. The edges are tightly contained, yet the inner area pulsates with energy, capturing the spiral pressure suggested by the seed. Negative space is intentionally woven in, allowing for quiet interludes amid the saturation, enhancing the overall tension of the juxtaposition.
