Artist Statement
The emotional tone captures the tension between vulnerability and strength through a palette of muted and vibrant colors. The use of bone white as a center evokes exposure, surrounded by layers of rust, moss green, and stone gray that embody strength and protective elements. The main collision occurs at the center where soft, halo-like patterns of pale colors meet the sharper, shatter-like edges, reflecting the struggle between open exposure and the protective frameworks we create. The subtle broken pixels introduce imperfections, suggesting the inherent fragility in our constructs while maintaining a balance of negative spaces to avoid overwhelming pressure.
