Artist Statement
This piece embodies the emotional tension between restlessness and peace, echoing through its color contrasts and placements. A muted palette of ice blue and violet gray represents tranquility, while sharp accents of warning orange and ink black inject a sense of urgency and stuttered movement. The design employs a nearly mirrored layout with one or two distorted elements, reflecting the concept of imperfection against symmetry. The center holds the bright flashes of orange, symbolizing a beckoning flame, while the edges dissolve into calmer hues, creating an emotional echo. The arrangement of colors prompts a vision of quiet spaces punctuated by dynamic interruptions, embodying the abstract qualities of memory and motion.
