Artist Statement
The emotional tone captures the delicate balance between vulnerability and strength. The palette, consisting of soft and harsh contrasts, aligns with feelings of exposure (pale pinks and whites) juxtaposed against the deep, shadowy tones (black and gray), reflecting a thick, protective edge. The main contrast occurs in the central area where a tide-like pattern of vulnerable colors (soft pinks) meets scar-like textures of stronger colors (dark gray and crimson). This interaction represents the collision of emotional states as described in the seed, forming an abstract narrative of resilience within fragility.
