Artist Statement
The emotional tone explores the interplay between longing and resolve. A palette of nostalgic colors—pink for warmth, dark maroon for depth, gray for neutrality, and red for intensity—creates a backdrop for tension. The main collision occurs in the center, where braiding patterns of resolve meet the crosshatch of longing, creating a dissonance that resonates throughout.
