Artist Statement
This composition captures the emotional tension between 'quiet' and 'pressure.' The palette is intentionally chosen to reflect that dichotomy: soft off-white and faint peach evoke calmness, while dark navy and compressed red introduce a sense of weight and urgency. The main contrast arises from the tight clustering of dark hues at one edge against the spacious lighter colors, creating a visual collision that mirrors the emotional push and pull described in the seed. The spiral layout and broken edges enhance areas of tension while allowing for moments of reprieve, evoking the story of pressure that gently gives way to quiet clarity.
