Artist Statement
This composition evokes a dynamic emotional landscape, balancing feelings of longing and resolve. The chosen palette of signal green, electric blue, and hot magenta against a backdrop of dead black and static gray creates a vibrant yet balanced composition. Bright accents of green and magenta represent longing, contrasted by deep blacks and grays symbolizing resolve. The main collision occurs at the center, where overlapping braids of longing intersect with stark barcodes of resolve, creating a visual tension that reverberates throughout the piece.
