Artist Statement
The composition explores the tension between 'control' and 'surrender.' The outer frame, filled with moss green and stone gray, symbolizes the containment and pressure related to control. In contrast, the inner 4x4 grid, employing softer shades of bone white and rust with intentional broken pixels, represents surrender and a release of boundaries. The palette embodies resilience and fragility, with warm depths infused into the cooler edge. The collision occurs at the border where the vibrance of the center meets the somber outer frame, inviting a dialogue between stability and chaos.
