Artist Statement
The emotional tone explores the tension between clarity (signal) and distortion (noise). The palette uses dark navy, black, and dim cyan to symbolize the depths of confusion and complexity, while a hint of white serves as the bright signal attempting to break through the noise. The top half embodies the readable rhythm with a lattice pattern, while the bottom half becomes a flood of disorganized noise, especially noticeable in the collision zones where colors abruptly interrupt each other. The main contrast resides in the center rows, representing an invasion of noise battling for dominance against the clearer signals from above.
