Artist Statement
This piece explores the interplay between vulnerability and strength through the contrasting hues of a tightly packed emotional landscape. The warm tones of coral and orange symbolize inner strength, creating a dense base in the center. Surrounding this, soft blue and pink gradients reflect vulnerability—the thin shell embracing the weight of experience. The composition follows a 'mirror_broken' layout, revealing two similar halves with a key disruption reflecting life’s unpredictability. The slight chaos in broken pixels adds a layer of texture and imperfection, embodying the scars we carry. The clash at the center disrupts the serene flow, symbolizing a collision of emotions that creates a quiet tension, while still leaving deliberate negative space, allowing the viewer to breathe amid the chaos.
