Artist Statement
This square embodies the emotional tension between vulnerability and strength. The muted palette of blues, grays, and soft whites suggests a melancholic wonder, with gentle echoes of strength represented through dense, structured patterns. The bright central cluster represents the exposed core, surrounded by darker, textured fields that suggest protection and pressure. The collision occurs in the center where light slips through, creating a dynamic contrast between the illuminated and the shadowed edges. The broken pixels serve to introduce organic imperfections, enhancing the narrative of exposure vs. shelter as fragments interrupt the calm.
