Artist Statement
This artwork captures the tension between fear and hope, with dark tones representing fear clashing against the warm glow of hope. The palette includes black, dark violet for weight and pressure, and soft gold and pale green for uplifting accents and soft tension. The layout manifests a visual argument, where the swirling patterns of hope (soft gold and pale green rings) are met by jagged edges of fear (dark tones), creating a dynamic interplay. Broken pixels add imperfection, enhancing the emotional texture and tension.
