Artist Statement
The artwork embodies a tension between quietness and pressure through a gradient of colors and patterns. The palette, featuring soft hues like off-white and faint peach juxtaposed with the compressive tones of dark navy and compressed red, creates a feeling of layered density interrupted by hints of light. The main contrast emerges from the left edge, where dense clusters in darker hues meet softer shades on the right, symbolizing the clash between calm and intensity. The broken pixels introduce an imperfection that reflects the chaos of shattering pressures, while the maze and ash field patterns suggest intricate paths and the inevitability of release.
