Artist Statement
This composition captures the emotional dichotomy of panic and control using a carefully selected palette and arrangement. The contrasting colors of deep black, dark violet, soft gold, and pale green evoke feelings of both fear and hope. The left side, embodying panic, uses sharp transitions and broken pixels to create a feeling of tension, while the right side represents control with softer patterns. The encounter between these contrasting emotions manifests in the center where the flow of colors collides, creating a pivotal interaction that symbolizes instability.
