Artist Statement
This piece explores the tension between loneliness and connection, represented by contrasting warm and cool colors. The emotional tone shifts with the placement of a central pixel, creating a protective yet vulnerable atmosphere. The palette features black and dark violet to convey a sense of isolation, while soft gold and pale green offer glimpses of hope. Hard edges create distinct boundaries, encapsulating the feeling of separation. The pattern of broken dots suggests isolation, while an underlying grid hints at connection. The alternating clusters of color convey a burst of emotion, resonating with the seed's themes.
